Louis Cardinals to winning 16-7 against the home Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday night in Phoenix.
Pujols also made it to second place on the all-time base list with 6,143.
He has surpassed Cardinals legendary Stan Musial (6,134) and only just behind Hank Aaron (6,856).

Nootbaar scored with the triple as a result of an Arizona mistake.
Carson Kelly drove in three runs, and Jake McCarthy homered for the Diamondbacks. Arizona pitcher Madison Bumgarner (6-13) gave seven hits in 5 1/3 innings,
while falling to 0-4 over the most recent five appearances. The pitcher struck out three while was walked by two.
