The Sopranos’ Tony Sirico Dead at 79 about 10 hours ago

Legendary actor Tony Sirico has died at the age of 79.

Sirico representative Bob McGowan confirmed the move to E! News accompanied a statement on July 8, saying,

"Tony was a very loyal customer, always giving to charity and members of the Wounded Warriors and Army Vet."

The actor was best known for his portrayal of Paul

"Polly Walnuts" Gualtieri in all six seasons of HBO's The Sopranos from 1999 to 2007

"Tony was like no other: he was as tough, loyal, and as big-hearted as I've ever known,

" Imperioli shared on Instagram. "I was by his side: through the good times and the bad. 

But mostly the good. And we had a lot of laughs. We found a groove in Christopher 

and Paulie and I'm proud to say I did my best And the funniest thing to do with my dear friend Tony."
